Mackenzie Rae has been practicing yoga since she was 16 years old. She took her first class right after she found out that her beloved dog passed away. Her first yoga class was incredibly powerful in helping her process the loss of her dog. She ended up falling in love with the practice and made it a regular part of her self care routine all throughout high school and college.

After graduating from college, Mackenzie traveled to south east Asia where she immersed herself in a 200 hour yoga teacher training through Zuna Yoga. Mackenzie continued immersing herself in different yoga trainings after her 200 hour experience before she started teaching regularly. Since the pandemic, Mackenzie has felt inspired to offer her students a place to practice with her online if they so choose.

Mackenzie's style of teaching is very grounded and really emphasizes the breath and subtle sensations living inside the body. She welcomes every part of you on the mat, exactly as you are. She really helps guide people into becoming the observer of their practice both on and off the mat. She has a very calming presence that really allows people to relax into their bodies.
